Short version: Squat It does not require an account and does not know who you are. All your fitness data stays on your device. The only external services the app contacts are RevenueCat (subscription management) and Apple (push notifications and App Store purchases).
1. Who We Are
Squat It is an iOS app developed by Aleksandra Fenenko ("we", "us", "our"). If you have questions about this policy, email us at [email protected].
2. What Data the App Collects
Data stored only on your device (AsyncStorage):
- Squat session history (counts, dates, streaks)
- App settings (active hours, squat count per reminder, notification preference)
- Onboarding completion flag
- Trial start date (to determine your 3-day free trial window)
- Daily celebration animation index
This data is stored locally and never transmitted to our servers (we have none). It is cleared when you uninstall the app.
Data collected by third-party services:
- RevenueCat — handles subscription purchases and entitlement verification. RevenueCat collects an anonymous device identifier, purchase receipts, and subscription status. No name, email, or payment details are shared with us; those go directly to Apple. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store / StoreKit — processes all in-app purchase transactions. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) — delivers workout reminders. If you grant notification permission, Apple assigns a push token stored locally and used only to schedule reminders. We do not store it on any server.
3. What Data We Do NOT Collect
- No name, email address, or account credentials — the app has no accounts
- No location data
- No camera or microphone access
